The level of pantothenic acid in the tissues bears a close relationship to adrenal health. It seems to support these glands, causing them to increase their production of cortisone and other hormones. Pantothenic acid is a coenzyme in carbohydrate, fat, and protein metabolism; it is a constituent of the Co-A enzyme system and to play an important role in supporting healthy aging and mood.
